I can't believe it!  A full year of blogging has gone by and Gaylle and I have missed our 1st year anniversary for The Whispering Path Tarot Blog.

So much has happened in this past year.  The Whispering Path has grown faster then we could have anticipated.  This past year has seen the birth of our blog and our website, The Whispering Path.  We have been kept busy with tarot parties, corporate events, the Women's Little Market events, Parry Sound special planned events and, of course, personal tarot and/or rune readings at our 2 locations in Parry Sound.   We have seen an increase in our email and telephone tarot readings as well and encourage anyone who can not make it to Parry Sound for a reading to email  one of us and book their personal email or telephone reading.

Gaylle and I have met so many wonderful and interesting people and we want to thank each and everyone of them for allowing us (and the cards)to guide and encourage them on their path for enlightenment.

Just for fun, here are the first few posts on our blog starting September 17, 2010.  I can see through the year how our confidence has grown as well as our spirituality.

The Whispering Path -Taking the Fear out of Tarot Readings

So you booked your first tarot reading and had a few days to prepare for it.  Your excitement grew as it drew nearer and now you are sitting with either Wendy or Gaylle from The Whispering Path and she asks the dreaded question- "Do you have any questions or concerns?”  Your mind goes blank-you look at her with fear in your eyes and then she quickly tells you not to worry.  "We'll start with an exercise to loosen you up and the questions will come to you along the way".

Gaylle and I (Wendy) are working hard at taking the fear out of tarot readings.  So let's start with-What to Expect.  First and foremost don't expect a lot of Woo Woo in our appearance or with our approach to tarot readings.   We take our tarot reading sessions seriously and you will find that the reading will not be overshadowed by elaborate costumes and overdone ambiances.  The setting will be in a quiet room with soothing crystals displayed whose energies are both relaxing and enlightening.  When you come for your personal tarot reading in our homes it will be like you are visiting an old friend. 

Your tarot reading session will usually start with an exercise geared to find the energies that are surrounding you at this time.  This fun exercise allows you to participate by mixing up the cards on the table and choosing 4 cards which will be interpreted to you.  Participation is encouraged at all times in your readings.  By now you will be loosened up and 'ready to roll'.  Your time will fly by as we probe into aspects of your life you wish to examine.  Sit back, relax and enjoy!  :)

For those who are interested in a personal tarot reading and cannot make it to Parry Sound we offer readings via Skype or by email.  However, sometimes it's nice to talk on the telephone like you would an old friend.  If you are interested in a personal tarot reading by telephone simply email either Wendy or Gaylle and we can arrange a time that is suitable for both.  Payment can be made through our Pay Pal Button by selecting 'telephone session'.  These tarot sessions will last approximately 1 hour with a cost of $60.00.

When the 3 of Swords reversed shows up in a tarot reading you could be blocking
