In some ways, this card is a little nondescript - it's a pip card, not so important as a card from the Major Arcana... an everyday card.
But it's a wonderful card to come up in a reading because it brings about a lot of conversation - and in fact, this card is about conversation. Sometimes it's a conversation about an issue that isn't going so well - there might be argument, there might be a real 'back & forth' about an issue. The good thing, is nobody's drawing any blood here, even if the argument is intense.
The takeaway is quite often to 1/ recognize that although there may be disagreement, at the very least the lines of conversaton are open and 2/ learn to take the bitterness out of the conversation - life and death isn't involved here, so communicate in a more productive way.

Hanged Man
One of my favourite cards in the tarot deck is the Hanged Man. In most decks, it shows a body, hanging upside down but in the deck I use most usually it's of a body hanging from his hands from a chandelier.
The usual interp of this card is the urgency of changing direction - that perhaps there's an issue that the querant has been banging their head on the wall about, forever - and it's just high time that the way they've been attacking this issue needs to change, big-time.
Everyone needs this advice in their life at one time or another, about some issue or another. It's the old adage about insanity resulting from doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The Hanged Man asks that a completely different approach be taken to effect the start of a solution.
Now about my deck, which shows the body hanging from his hands instead of upside down, it has an additional texture of meaning for me. I see that by just hanging on (to the issue perhaps) that there isn't anything that can be done. But if one let's go, now 1/ feet are able to change the position 2/ hands and arms are able to be used, and 3/ geographically a major change can be made. In other words, just hanging' around doesn't do anything constructive.
So next time you see the Hanged Man come up, let your mind float free and consider some other avenues of approach. Chances are, if you get outside the usual boundries that limit your thinking you WILL come up with something creative and new.

Asking Tarot Cards WHEN!
Here are some obvious cards that can tell you something about timing - especially when considered within the context of where they're placed around other cards in the layout.
Eight of Wands - can indicate speed - so right side up, sooner than later and reversed, not so much
The Sun - besides the usual meaning can indicate summer, or daytime instead of night and reversed, the opposite
Five of Pentacles - can indicate winter, and reversed, after winter
Knights - have a look at the horse... is it moving? stagnent? racing? to the issue or away?
Three of Cups - can indicate harvest time - fall
Ten of Wands -can signal a long way off
Just remember, don't beat up the cards for specific dates. Daydoonlikethat :)

Repeat Business
Today my house smells... I pulled out a forgotten container from back of the fridge and in it... cauliflower that hasn't seen the light of day for a week. So the whole house reeks and my husband is whining about it. Geesh. Fabreeze and candles to the rescue.
Thank goodness I'd waited to do this after my readings this afternoon. I'd expected one to my door and two came! And this is really what the blog today is about. Return/repeat customers.
In any business, including ours, repeat business is where it's at baby. How to achieve it? I think there are several reasons why someone comes back to you for another reading - whether live, or online.
1. They're comfortable with you. Lesson: Don't be arrogant, condescending or stuck in a know-it-all stance. Be welcoming, appreciative they've returned, and continue to build a relationship.
2. What you've told them in the past has come to fruition. Lesson: Know your stuff. Be honest about what you know, detailed in your analysis of the situation. But above all, know your stuff.
3. They trust you. Lesson: You don't talk to them about other querents, and ergo they know you don't talk about them to others. Be honest and again... know your stuff.
4. They like what they hear. Lesson: You speak to the issues at hand. You don't wander around with banalities. Yes, you hope to be able to give them good news, but we know in this business it isn't always good news. So be kind. Always. And compassionate.
ha ha ha... my Saturday lesson grasshopper LOL

Tarot Horoscope for Nov 14 to Nov 20
Here is your tarot horoscope for the week starting- Monday, November 14 to Sunday, November 20
Aries: You're feeling a little hemmed in and restricted about an issue - unsure of what your next step is. Trust yourself, go within, and you'll find your answer.
Taurus: This week will have you losing sleep and tearing your hair out over an issue. Try to remain sane... this too shall pass.
Gemini: This is the week to to step out of your comfort zone. Take a risk... you'll enjoy the ride.
Cancer: You'll discover something new and lovely about a close relationship this week that will have long-term impact on your life.
Leo: It's time to finally make that decision you've been putting off. Stop avoiding it and get on with it.
Virgo: You're your own worst enemy this week in regards to a perfect relationship or family life. Identify the issue you're stumbling over and put it behind you.
Libra: You'll have great success this week in a partnership or relationship. Take advantage of this time period to consolidate that relationship.
Scorpio: Beware of some deviousness this week - perhaps someone is misleading you, either deliberately or by simple omission of some key information. Be vigilant.
Sagittarius: The success of a work/volunteer issue is not quite at hand this week. Something delays it - make sure it's not something you've missed - check your details.
Capricorn: It's the same old, same old this week for your work/volunteer work. You're getting in your own way by not following up on the new idea you had, so get at it.
Aquarius: You were planning to accomplish so much this week... lots of different avenues out there to followup on. Be careful you don't let it all drift away.
Pisces: A female in your life (probably someone over 40) will be favourably disposed to help you. Take advantage of this - the relationship will be strengthened, and the advice will be good.

A Thought On Creation
God stood on a hill at the dawn of time,
Young, as creation was young--
He was blowing bubbles as children do,
And they floated and soared and swung...
A young God at the dawn of time,
Bubbles drifting out of sight:
Worlds new-made: a child God's toys,
Formed for his own delight.
An old God stood on a rugged crag,
And he watched them drifting back:
Some broken and lost,
Some battered and tossed,
And one with hell in its track.
And he sighed so sadly the aged God,
As he gazed at the worlds he had made...
But off on a hill, across the void,
Another young God played.

Why I love the King of Cups :)
I love the King of Cups in the Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck. Look at him sitting there calm and relaxed. He is a kind and fair man. He is there to help you in times of need. He would never make you feel unworthy. He allows you to make mistakes and he is there to 'pick you up and dust you off' if you fail and sends you back out there to try again.
We should all try to be a bit like this honest king and rule our kingdoms with honesty, compassion and love.
Is the energy of the King of Cups in your future?
