In some ways, this card is a little nondescript - it's a pip card, not so important as a card from the Major Arcana... an everyday card.
But it's a wonderful card to come up in a reading because it brings about a lot of conversation - and in fact, this card is about conversation. Sometimes it's a conversation about an issue that isn't going so well - there might be argument, there might be a real 'back & forth' about an issue. The good thing, is nobody's drawing any blood here, even if the argument is intense.
The takeaway is quite often to 1/ recognize that although there may be disagreement, at the very least the lines of conversaton are open and 2/ learn to take the bitterness out of the conversation - life and death isn't involved here, so communicate in a more productive way.

Tarot Card of the Day
The tarot card for today is the 2 of Cups.
The golden hue of the card suggests a 'golden moment in time' when everything is right in your world. A blending of two things together has brought on the creation of a third. This could represent a loving relationship where together they are creating a bonding of 'love' or it could represent a business partnership. The union is brought on by feelings of emotions, the love of a common goal. A feeling of peace and tranquility are in the air the the main focus is of nurturing this new union.

The Hermit is a message to you that it is time to slow down. Take some time for yourself to assess where you are in life and where you want to be. Are you living your life in accordance to your beliefs? Time alone will help you to find out if you are on the right path or show you another path you didn't know existed. Listen to your heart not what others are trying to tell you. Don't be bullied into something that isn't YOU.
Every second you spend looking for something outside yourself is another second you spend away from you true self. --Michael Jeffreys

Tarot Reading for Guidance
Today I was seeking answers regarding the unknown. I been having this feeling lately that I am missing something. I feel that something is just beyond yet I'm not able to see it. It's been a frustrating feeling and it has left me a feeling of emptiness, not quite whole. I decided to do a two card reading for guidance. I asked the cards what I needed to know/what is hidden from me I need to be aware of.
My intuition tells me that there IS something in the future that will fill that void I have been feeling. I get the feeling of forward movement, movement towards something that is very important to me. My spiritual beliefs are not in question however I feel the cards are suggesting I need more of a balance in my life in regards to this. Everyone needs time to reflect and recharge. Maybe it's time for me to do so. :)

Tarot Cards-The Suit of Swords
The minor arcana in a tarot deck consists of 4 suits similar to a normal deck of playing cards.
Swords = Spades
Pentacles = Diamond
Cups = Hearts
Wands or Rods = Clubs
Swords are associated with the element of air. Swords deal with matters of the mind, thought process. They are about intelligence and the ability to reason. Other qualities are:
Honest
Outspoken
Intelligent
Quick Witted
Fair /Just
Logical
Control
Clarity
Analytical
When there is bad energy around the swords can turn mean and opinionated, sharp tongued and cold.
Tarot Cards-The Suit of Pentacles
The minor arcana in a tarot deck consists of 4 suits similar to a normal deck of playing cards.
Pentacles = Diamond
Cups = Hearts
Wands or Rods = Clubs
Swords = Spades
Pentacles are associated with the element of earth. Pentacles are the down to earth suit and deal with practical matters, security, money, things you have and want and need. Qualities listed below describe the suit of Pentacles
Prudent
Reliable
Nurturing
Down to Earth
Hardworking
Organized
Stable
Cautious
Dependable
Helpful
Watch out for some bad energy that can sometimes come from the suit of Pentacles such as being too rigid, unadventurous (boring), loss of imagination and loss of sense of humor.
Tarot Cards-The Suit of Cups
The minor arcana in a tarot deck consists of 4 suits similar to a normal deck of playing cards.
Cups = Hearts
Wands or Rods = Clubs
Pentacles = Diamond
Swords = Spades
Cups are associated with the element of water. Cups are the suit of emotions, divination and love. They can reveal:
Feelings
Spiritual Needs
Affection
Intimacy
Joy
Dreams
Compassion
Caring
Love
Peace
Tolerance
Romance
Psychic Abilities
These are wonderful qualities, however when the energy of the cups is around you, you can also feel some negativity such as laziness, being too 'sappy', brooding and touchiness.
My Tarot Card Reading for Guidance
I have been feeling a bit 'blue' lately. I feel my 'get up and go had got up and went'. I felt the need of some guidance from my trusted Mystic Dreamer Tarot deck. I decided to draw one card to instruct me on What I Need to Know about my situation.
The card was the 5 of Cups.
The card was the 5 of Cups.
The minute a saw the card it all made sense to me. I have been grieving over the loss of summer. I am not a fan of winter and I'm not looking forward to another winter season of coats, boots, and mitts. There are some wonderful aspects of winter that I choose to ignore. This card is trying to remind me to 'take my blinders off' and enjoy what mother earth has to offer. This card is also reminding me not to get so concerned about winter coming that I lose out on the beautiful autumn approaching
Tarot readings are a great way to find guidance when you feel lost and also help clarify a situation that seems 'fuzzy' to you.

Tarot Reading-7 of Wands
For me, the 7 of Wands is one of the tarot cards that doesn't seem to come up in a reading as much as the other tarot cards (now that I have said that it will probably come up more and more). I can honestly say that when I did my 'card of the day' today I was surprised to see the 7 of Wands. My intuition is asking me this:
- I am being paranoid about something?
- Why do a feel like I have to defend myself?
- I am sticking up for what a believe in?
It's almost like I am showing everyone what I have done or accomplished and I am daring them to tell me it's not right or I should have done it this way or that way. Hummmm. Why am I feeling so defensive? Am I afraid you won't like my post! :)
Here is the standard meaning for the 7 of Wands using the Rider-Waite deck.
- defiance
- conviction
- taking a stand
- defense
- aggression
- communication
I find that the Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck is similar in many ways to the Rider-Waite but the images on the Mystic Dreamer deck spark my intuition better than the Rider-Waite deck.
If you would like a personal tarot reading with the Mystic Dreamer Tarot deck or the Rider-Waite deck email Wendy or Gaylle today.

Tarot Reading-Wendy's Card of the Day
The 3 of Swords is not my favourite card in the tarot deck to get. Even the picture looks ominous. Remember an earlier post I did on the 3 of Swords.........
The heart is a symbol of affection, love and joy. It can also represent conscience, truth and courage.
Clouds are a symbol of 'clouded' vision or confusion. Clearing clouds could also indicate a revelation or epiphany. That sudden moment when all becomes clear. Notice the clouds clearing on the 3 of swords.
Taking these symbols into consideration, if the 3 of swords shows up in your reading it could be asking you:
What truths are you hiding from?
In this situation, am I being honest with the people I am close to?
Am I being honest with myself?
Can I learn any lessons from the pain I am feeling right now?
How do I see the problem clearly?
What is the heart of the problem?
The 3 of swords can indicate a time of:
- loss
- separation
- sorrow
- loss of balance
- disharmony
- disruption
- heartbreak
- betrayal
So, this is my card for the day. I'm hoping the clouds will disappear and all will become clear to me again. :)

Tarot Reading
I did a 'quickie' 2 card reading for myself today. The tarot cards that came up were The Queen of Pentacles and the 6 of Cups-reversed. Usually, when the Queen of Pentacles shows up in my personal tarot readings she is signifying Gaylle, the other half of The Whispering Path. To me, the 6 of Cups represents enjoyment of simple pleasures, spending time with children, family and friends. My 'quickie intuition' is telling me that I will be spending my day discussing The Whispering Path with Gaylle and will not be able to spend time on the simple pleasures of life. That's ok. :) Tomorrow is another day.
Enjoy your day.

3 of Swords-Reversed
When the 3 of Swords reversed shows up in a tarot reading you could be blocking
- pain
- sorrow
- loss
- confusion
When you block or resist these energies you will not be able to deal with the problem, heal and move on. Some say the 3 of Swords reversed can mean the power of the 3 of Swords is waning and this can be true also. The question, the surrounding cards and intuition are what determines what it means in your reading.
What energy is surrounding you at this time. Email Wendy or Gaylle for a tarot reading today.

Tarot Card of the Day-Strength
When the Strength card show up in a tarot reading it is making you aware that it's energy is there for you. The Strength card deals with situations where you are in control. It represents determination and most importantly-courage.
Strength is card number 8 in the Major Arcana and can indicate a time of:
- strength
- courage
- determination
- willpower
- confidence
- control
- accomplishment
- understanding
- balance
The lion can be seen as a symbol of our 'inner beast'. He could be like the little devil on our shoulders. Sometimes we need courage and determination to ignore his urgings.
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength. -unknown

Walking Down the Path of the 2 of Wands
When the 2 of Wands represents the power you hold in your hands. It indicates:
- success
- growth
- control
- preparation
- vision
- strategy
- leadership
- forecasting
- reflection
The 2 of Wands could be asking you-"You have come this far, you have the power now what are you going to do with it?" There will be problems and issues along the way but the 2 of Wands has everything under control and a sense of victory to overcome any obstacles is in the air.
The 2 of Wands is also a sign of an important decision to be made. It lets you know you are in command, the leader, and only you can make this decision.

Walking Down the Path of the 7 of Cups
We all have choices to make in our life and sometimes these choices can be overwhelming. When the 7 of Cups shows up in your reading it means many choices are or will be available to you.
If there are so many choices how do we decide? It's confusing when the options available to us are many. In cases like this it is good to think with your heart and your head. Use your intuition. When you dig deep down into your soul what do you feel about each option? It's good to do your homework. Get all the facts.
The 7 of Cups opens up a whole new world of possibilities and imagination. Enjoy!

Card of the Day-8 of Wands
the Legacy of the Divine TarotThe 8 of Wands is all about:
- news
- quick action
- conclusion
- going with the flow
- direction
- speed
- getting a signal
- energy
The 8 of Wands can indicate a period of rapid, clear communication. It can represent a time of discussions that resolve a miscommunication and ends confusion.
I feel that the 8 of Wands can indicate speed within the context of the question. It is good for the client to know that speed will be an issue regarding their query so they are prepared. I feel the 8 of Swords is full of energy.
