The Hierophant-The Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck

OK, now I'm being repetitious.  What a beautiful day it is today!  Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians.  I can smell your turkeys cooking from here.  I hope you are enjoying the day with friends and family.  Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all the wonderful people in your life.  Be happy.  Take the time to cement relationships and to make positive memories.  Live is short.  Go out there and embrace it.  :)

Working my way through the major arcana we now come to the card I have the most issues with.

The Hierophant

These, of course, are my interpretations and as I said I have never felt comfortable with The Hierophant.  But let's look at this more closely.   If The Hierophant sparks my intuition as an institution that can mean;

• the institution of marriage
• a bank
• a church
• college or university 
• knowledge given in a structured manner

Sometimes a feel that The Hierophant is judging me;

• at work
• my family
• my friends

I see knowledge available to you through standard 'intitutions' like college and universities' as well as a mentor or the wisdom you can gain from an elder.  

I love that the image Heidi Darras has created for The Hierophant doesn't strictly set your mind on religion but  gives a wider range of emotions. The Hierophant from The Mystic Dreamer tarot deck aids my intuition much better than the standard Rider-Waite deck.

Tarot Horoscope-October 10-October 16

Your tarot horoscope for Monday, October 10 to Sunday October 16.

Aries:  Something or someone may break your heart and make you sad this week.  Let yourself feel this pain, deal with it.  Take the time to heal and then move on knowing that the future will be brighter.

Taurus:   If your life seemed like it was in turmoil and in a mess lately know that it is going to get better.  That bad energy that was in your life is leaving and the future looks better.   

Gemini:  You have some fears that you are trying to hide away.  Don't!  Deal with these insecurities.  Listen to what your intuition is trying to tell you as it will not steer you wrong.  

Leo: You are standing there with all the power to make that important decision.  Your creativity will shine with whatever decision  you make so choose the one that will make better use of your skills and abilities.

Virgo: Your intelligence and thought process is needed for an important project. Use your imagination this week and look outside the box.

Libra:  This is not a week to hesitate.  Use your creativity and your skills to start that project or job you have been thinking about.     

Scorpio:  I know it is hard to let go of something or someone you love but the time is now to realize you have to let go and move on.  Everything needs to end at some time.  Now is the time for you to except this and if you do things will look brighter next week.  :)

Sagittarius:  That project/job or idea or you were working on isn't going to work out.  End it now and move on to something else. Not all your ideas are going to be successful.  End this one now.  

Capricorn:  You are the leader this week.  Head out and see what is in store.  You have the power and are now ready to go for it.  Enjoy the ride!  

Aquarius:  Have faith in yourself.  When or if you seem to be losing faith surround yourself with people who love and care for you.  Take time to assess what it is you believe in.  What do you want in life? What do you need?  Take the time to find yourself.

Pisces:    There will be a message someone is trying to send you or one you should be aware of.  Are you listening?  Wake up and notice what is going on around you.  Love could be near and you are not paying attention.

The Emperor-The Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck

Wow!   I can't believe that wonderful weather we have been having here in Parry Sound.  I could not get myself to come inside today.  I sat out on the veranda most of the day smelling turkey and enjoying my new Path of the Soul Destiny Cards.  What a beautiful deck of intuitive fractal energy art.  After an interesting visit with that deck I again took out my Mystic Dreamer tarot deck.  For those of you new to The Whispering Path Tarot Blog, the Mystic Dreamer tarot deck is the deck I, Wendy, use for all my tarot readings.  Read earlier posts regarding my 'love' for this tarot deck. The Empress-The Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck

I'm on a roll now.  The previous posts have all been regarding the major arcana.  I have already finished with The Fool, The Magician and The High Priestess.  Today we are dealing with The Empress.   Again, it's a nice day and I am sitting in the sun on my veranda while the turkey is cooking.  I'm looking forward to time with family to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving.  :)

I feel that The Empress is all the Queens in the court cards mixed together.  The Empress is the ruler of all Queens.  This Empress can do it all.  She is Mother Earth, Mother Nature--the ultimate of Motherhood.  The Empress is about love and family.  She is always there to guide you down whatever path it is you wish to explore.  She is about structure but in a more loving, guiding and nurturing way.  I feel that when she shows up in a reading it gives the reading/issue a safe, loving, nurturing feeling with all the love and guidance that is require at the time.  :)

The Fool-The Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck

What a beautiful sunny day in Parry Sound today.  It feels just like summer.  I love it.

I sat on my veranda today with my Mystic Dreamer tarot deck.  I separated the major arcana from the minor arcana and put all the majors in order.  I don't know why I did that.  I was just following my intuition.  I took the first card of the major arcana, The Fool.  Card 0.  I sat there just looking at the card and letting the card's energy speak to me.  Here is what I came up with.

The Fool

Joy of Life

Dancing to the beat of your own drum

Going in the direction your heart is leading you

Faith that you will be protected on your journey-your new beginning

Listening to what your intuition is telling you

Starting a new chapter in your life

Playfulness

The Fool is about new beginnings that you are about to or have started on.  A journey your heart is leading more so than your head.  On this journey you have faith in yourself and your abilities.  You have a  'que sera sera' mentality--'what will be, will be'.   You know that this is the right choice for YOU at this time.  

Embrace the energy of The Fool.  Enjoy the playfulness and youthful feelings The Fool brings to your life.  :)

Tarot Reading-New Career Venture

I friend of mine came to me the other day and wanted a reading.  She is thinking about a new business venture and she is actively gathering information and filling out several government 'red tape' forms.  She told me she felt that this venture was doomed or maybe it was not a good time to start as she feels she is running into hassle after hassle.  She also told me that this new beginning was something she has always wanted to do.   I was so busy with 'life' that I couldn't fit her in but this morning, out of the blue, I thought of her and did a one card reading asking 'What energy is surrounding this new business venture?'  I laughed when the card that was drawn was The Fool.  :)

My intuition told me that this new venture has not been doomed.  Hassles she may be encountering are just normal 'red tape'.  She must continue on with this new phase in her life believing in herself and 'the powers that be'.  I told her of the reading and to take The Fool as a good sign and to continue on her journey and see where it takes her.  :)
